Rush Contractors Group started in 1991 and had since then grown to include a large fleet of high technology equipment.

We are able to handle all of your site preparation and ground improvement requirements, including all aspects of preload sand, delivery, slope stabilization, excavation, dynamic and vibro compaction.

We are committed to providing our clients with the highest level of expertise with leading edge site preparation solutions for projects of varying size and complexity. Our Team

Joe Miller

Joe is one of the founders of the Rush Group, Formerly Rush Contracting Ltd which launched in 1991. Joe Began his career with Miller Contracting at the age of 19, he has 46 years of experience in the road building and site prep industry in British Columbia. Joe introduced two new ground improvement methods to western Canada, Rapid Impact Compactors (2001) and Rapid Impact Piers (2008). In 2014 after the earthquake in Christchurch New Zealand, Joe introduced Rapid Impact Piers in New Zealand and performed 142 projects in 5 years.

Ron Hardie

Ron has over 45 years of experience in the construction industry. Beginning with a surveying background, he spent 15 years working mainly in the road building sector within British Columbia. Over the last 30 years with the Rush Group his experience has grown to include large civil projects, excavation and all aspects of site preparation.

Sean Trann

Sean has been with Rush Group since 2010, contributing the success of the business through a variety of positions. Sean brings extensive amounts of hands-on experience from the field that complements his current role as a Senior Project Manager and Estimator.

Tyson Motz

Tyson joined the Rush Group after an extensive career at one of North America’s largest engineering and construction organizations. He has been involved in several major infrastructure projects in British Columbia including the Sea-to-Sky Highway, the Port Mann Bridge and the WAC Bennett Dam. Tyson has over 17 years experience in heavy civil construction. He is an experienced Project Manager overseeing drilling, blasting, piling, shotcrete, and grouting operations throughout Western Canada.
